What's a "Bad Boyz club"?

Bad Boyz Clubs meet at local McDonalds' and other venues so that men can meet together in a non-threatening supportive environment, share their hopes, fears, frustrations & achievements, encourage each other and share experiences..

But why call it a "Bad Boyz Club"?

There are men from all ages and backgrounds, but our emphasis is for the ex-prisoner, to give them access to a caring community, without the cultural expectations and pressures of a church or similar group. One of our regulars, Mick McGrath, started calling it "Bad Boyz Club", and the name stuck..

Helping men get out of the cycle of Crime & Prison
Bad Boyz Clubs are part of a wider support network, providing emotional & practical support for current & former prisoners & their families. When the needs of former inmates are addressed with genuine concern, there will be much less tendency for them to go back to their old contacts in crime & drugs. With this support in place, the number of released inmates who return to jail as repeat offenders will be greatly reduced...

Former inmates are always welcome...
